RE: Sautner Stepping Down
For immediate release:
The Kindersley Junior Klippers announce that effective immediately, President Brett Sautner, has stepped down from his active role as President of the organization. Sautner has been an active board member for the past 13 seasons and President for 8. Through the ups and downs of the previous years, Brett has been a mainstay in the leadership position of the club. Sautner had this to say about the decision.
“When I joined the board it was about helping an organization that I was passionate about, being Alumni, I thought I could give back and help more than just as a fan. Becoming President was a true honor, and I feel now is the right time to step down and start transitioning the role over. We have an amazing group of people on the board and I can’t thank them enough for their hard work and dedication to the club over the years. I need to give special thanks to people like Clint Peterson, Jenn Wagner, and Carson Shea for their commitments throughout the years. The biggest thanks, however, are to my wife Brendee for her sacrifice and helping keep me in line through the ebbs and flows of this journey, and of course my kids, Blake, and Ethan. Without my family’s support this wouldn’t be possible. I am extremely excited about the direction of the club and can’t wait to see what the future holds for Junior Hockey in Kindersley.”
Klippers Vice President Carson Shea will take over the Presidents Role in the Interim. When asked about the change he had this to say:
“First and foremost, we can’t thank Brett and Family enough for the time, dedication, leadership, and commitment to our Hockey Club. It’s truly amazing the passion he has shown over the years, and we just can’t say enough good things about him and his family. We know they won’t be far away and are always willing to lend a helping hand. Moving forward, I’m excited about the opportunity, and know with the leadership and people we have in place with staff, and on the board, we will continue to push forward in our pursuit to bring another championship back to Kindersley!”
The Organization would like to thank Brett for his contributions to the hockey club and community, while congratulating Carson Shea on his new role with the Organization.
