98 SNIPER ADDED TO KLIPPERS ROSTER.

No doubt the Klippers newest acquisition up front comes as advertised. Ty Enns scored a goal and had 2 assists in his Klippers debut versus the Weyburn Red Wings on Saturday after pulling into the WCEC parking lot barely an hour before puck drop. Enns made the 4 hour trek from Bonnyville Alberta and arrived just in time to make a big impact on the Klippers picking up a huge 2 points to keep pace in the ultra competitive Global Ag Risks Division. (Hum–>38 pts, BNS–>32 pts, Kin–>31 pts, ND–>27 pts.)

Ty comes with an incredible pedigree of scoring and winning having been a point a game player in the MJHL with the Portage Terriers, the NAHL with the Bismarck Bobcats, and the AJHL with the Bonnyville Pontiacs. Ty is a proven winner helping his Midget squad win the Manitoba AAA Championship with 18 points in 12 games coupled with a 10 points in a 17 games performance with the MJHL Champions Portage Terriers.

After a red-hot October in which the Klippers garnered 17 of a possible 18 points, November has not been so kind with the Double K’s managing just 7 goals over a 6 game skid. Credit to GM Clayton Jardine and Head Scout Stef Corfmat for pulling the trigger on Notre Dame playmaker Noah Bankowski last week and Ty Enns this week in an effort to break out of the November scoring slump; which seems to have been the right formula with the Klippers hanging 6 on Weyburn Saturday.

Effectively leading the Klippers in scoring now at 22 pts with a 3 point night Saturday together with his 19 points from Bonnyville; Ty will be looked to be a dominant player with the puck on his stick and a deadly powerplay weapon. The Klippers organization is very happy to have Ty join our family and know our fans will enjoy watching Ty play out the remainder of the season as we push for a deep playoff run.

The newest additions will look to gel with the team as the Klippers take to the road to finish off November vs Battlefords on Saturday the 24th before a midweek roadie to Notre Dame and Humboldt on the 28th and 29th.

Saturday December the 1st we hope to see the barn packed to welcome the boys home for another big Division game vs the Hounds.

Don’t forget, $100,000 Split the Pot tickets and Klippers Merch make for great Christmas presents. So call or come down to the Klippers Business office and do the right thing.
