It was a weekend of firsts for the Kindersley Jr. Klippers.
Not only did the Klippers 5-2 opening night victory against the Battlefords secure Kyle Schneider’s first ever win as an SJHL head coach, but it also marked the first career SJHL goals for Edam’s Carter Cole, Dinsmore’s Cooper Flath, and Macklin’s Kaegan Lowe, before Kindersley’s own Pryce Thiessen earned his milestone marker in Saturday’s home opening rematch that finished a 6-3 loss to the North Stars.
