Klippers Sign Ringdal

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers are proud to announce the signing of 2008-born forward Kash Ringdal from the Saskatoon Blazers of the SMAAAHL for the 2026–2027 season.

Ringdal, of Kenaston, Saskatchewan, is in his final season with the Blazers. In 32 games this year with the Blazers, Ringdal has scored 13 goals and added 23 assists for 36 points. In two seasons in the SMAAAHL, he has played 76 total games, tallying 24 goals and 42 assists for 66 points. The Klippers drafted Kash in the first round, sixth overall, in the 2024 SJHL Draft.

Klippers General Manager Ryan Gibson on the signing:

“We are very excited to add Kash to the fold for the 2026–2027 season here in Kindersley. He has been very forward with us that he wanted to play his junior hockey with the Klippers, and that is something we hold in high regard. His season started a little slow with an injury in the preseason, but he has responded well and played some of his best hockey of the season down the stretch leading into the postseason. He is a long forward who can play the wing or up the middle, possesses a high IQ, and has great playmaking ability. His release allows him to beat goalies from all levels in the offensive zone. He brings a wealth of playoff and big-game experience to our group from his time in U18, and he will add more of that this year as the Blazers head into the playoffs.”

Ringdal on signing with the Klippers:

“I am very excited to sign with the Klippers. They have great staff that brings a lot of development and opportunities to players. The culture in Kindersley is very strong, and I can’t wait to get started and bring a championship to Kindersley.”

The Klippers would like to welcome Kash and the entire Ringdal family to the organization.
