KLIPPERS SIGN RADKE

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers are proud to announce the signing of 2007-born goaltender Mattias Radke from the Southern Alberta Hockey Academy (SAHA).

Radke hails from Calgary, AB, and has spent the past two seasons playing at SAHA. He will join current teammate Josiah Jackson in Kindersley next fall.

This season at SAHA, Radke appeared in 26 games, posting a 2.76 goals-against average (GAA) and a .913 save percentage (SV%), along with two shutouts. He also helped backstop SAHA to a semifinal appearance in this year’s CSSHL playoffs, recording a 2.80 GAA and a .908 SV%.

Assistant General Manager Ryan Gibson on Radke:
“We are very excited to add Mattias to our team for next season. He is an extremely athletic goalie who battles hard to make every save. He had a great season in U18 at SAHA, and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can do in Kindersley starting next fall. He takes getting better very seriously and goes to the rink every day with that intention.”

The Klippers organization would like to welcome Mattias and the entire Radke family to Kindersley!
