The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers are excited to announce the acquisition of 2004 forward Dawson Karol from the Dauphin Kings.
Karol joins the Klippers after playing two seasons with the Flin Flon Bombers. In 56 total games with the Bombers, he scored 6 goals and added 6 assists for 12 points, along with 85 penalty minutes. He brings experience from two deep playoff runs in Flin Flon to the Klippers.
Assistant GM Ryan Gibson on Karol: “From everyone we have spoken to, the main item that comes up when speaking about Dawson is character. He is a high-character individual and another great veteran leader for us to add to our dressing room. He plays the game hard and with very high compete, something we have been looking to add to our group this off-season. We feel that there is more offense to his game than he’s had the opportunity to showcase, and we are excited to see what he can do as a Klipper next season.”
The Klippers would like to welcome Dawson and the entire Karol family to Kindersley!
