KLIPPERS BRING BACK FAN FAVORITE TANNER THOMPSON.
In a move that completes last season’s Josh Bly trade, the conditional player to be named has officially been announced as former Klipper Tanner Thompson.
Tanner played the 2015-16 season with the Klippers, registering 15 points in 53 games as well as a chunk of the 2016-17 season before leaving the team as part of the major trade with the Nipawin Hawks. Tanner had an exceptional 2016-17 season putting up 42 points, including an impressive 24 goals scored.
Coach and GM Geoff Grimwood adds… ” Tanner was my first recruit when I came to Kindersley. We are very excited to have him back. We think he will be one of the top power forwards in the league. His character and leadership are off the charts. Tanner instantly makes us better.”
Tanner was a very popular player with the Klippers and it was very hard to see him go last season, so we couldn’t be happier to bring him back.
