Klippers Host Back-to-Back Home Games vs. Yorkton This Week
The Kindersley Jr. Klippers are set for a big two-night homestand at the Inter Pipeline Arena as they welcome the Yorkton Terriers for games on December 5th and 6th, with puck drop scheduled for 7:30 PM on both nights. Fans can expect a packed slate of community-driven promotions, special presentations, and high-energy hockey as the Klippers look to make a statement on home ice.
December 5 – Teddy Bear Toss Night & Community Food Drive
The action begins Friday with one of the most anticipated theme nights of the season: the annual Teddy Bear Toss. Fans are encouraged to bring NEW stuffed animals and send them flying onto the ice when the Klippers score their first goal of the night. All donated toys will be delivered to the Kindersley Hospital and local crisis centre, helping brighten the holidays for families in need.
To further support the community, spectators will receive $5 off admission by bringing a non-perishable food item, supporting local food programs during a high-demand time of year.
To cap off the night, the Klippers will host a Calcutta and social in the curling lounge following the game—open to all attendees.
A $2,500 guaranteed 50/50 pot, proudly sponsored by Mon Amie Boutique, rounds out what promises to be an exciting night in the arena.
December 6 – Parent & Billet Recognition Night + Calcutta Shootout
Saturday’s matchup brings even more excitement as the Klippers take a moment to honour the people who support their players behind the scenes. Prior to the game, the organization will host on-ice presentations for parents and billet families, recognizing their commitment to player development and the Jr. A experience.
Another $2,500 guaranteed 50/50 pot, this time sponsored by KC Electric, will be up for grabs.
Following the final buzzer, fans are invited to stick around for the Calcutta Shootout, giving the night an entertaining finish as players battle it out in a skills-style showdown.
Two Nights, One Big Weekend of Klippers Hockey
With theme nights, community initiatives, presentations, and major 50/50 prizes on the line, this two-game set against Yorkton is shaping up to be one of the biggest weekends of the season. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, bring their donations, and pack the Inter Pipeline Arena for two straight nights of Klippers hockey.
