KLIPPERS SIGN THIESSEN

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers are excited to announce the signing of Kindersley local and former Klippers draft pick Pryce Thiessen for the 2025-2026 season.

Thiessen is currently in his third season in the SMAAAHL with the Tisdale Trojans. Through 11 games this season, he sits second in team points with 9 goals and 3 assists. In the 2023 SJHL draft, the Klippers selected him in the 2nd round, 14th overall. He also played in 3 games for the Klippers as an affiliate last season.

Assistant General Manager Ryan Gibson shared his thoughts on the signing of Pryce: “It is always special when you are able to add homegrown players to your roster, and we could not be more excited to add Pryce Thiessen for next season. He went back to Tisdale at the start of this season with something to prove, and he has done just that. He currently leads his team in goals and is playing significant minutes in Tisdale. He moves around the ice extremely well, brings a physical element that is hard to find these days, and has a natural goal-scoring ability. Fans are going to love seeing Pryce in green and navy next season.”

The Klippers would like to welcome Pryce and the entire Thiessen family to the organization.
