Klippers Complete Comeback Against Melfort

KINDERSLEY WINS GAME IN SHOOT-OUT

The Kindersley Klippers got their third win of the season on Wednesday night taking on the Melfort Mustangs.

Melfort took a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Tomba Huddlestan got the Klippers on the board with his first SJHL goal.

The Mustangs took another two goal lead but Branden Wagner scored his 5th of the season to edge the Klippers back to within one.

Jordan Evans tied the game up with a nice pass from Josh Bly, and the game was sent to overtime.  Where the Klippers killed off yet another penalty in the extra frame.

In the shoot-out Klipper goaltender Justen Close turned aside all shots faced and Josh Bly was the long goal scorer to seal the win for the Klippers.

The Klippers are on the road next taking on the Broncos this Friday.  They return home on October 15th, also against Humboldt.
