Klippers Add Familiar Name

The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers have added Cash Arntsen (Swift Current, SK) from the La Ronge Ice Wolves. Cash is a 2nd generation Klipper as his dad, Cheyenne Arntsen, was a klipper during their inaugural season and played 2 years for the klippers. In 93-94 Cheyenne played in 43 contests racking up 39pts and bettering his numbers the next year 94-95 playing in 49 games and amassing 56pts.  Cash has spent the last 2 seasons with the Swift Current Legionnaires U18 AAA where he was named the Captain last season.  “Cash is a hard working tough to play against forward” Head coach and GM Ken Plaquin.

With the addition of Cash the Klippers now have the first 3 second generation players to ever play on the Klippers with both locals Tylin and Ethan Hilbig rounding out the trio. Blaine Hilbig, Tylin and Ethan’s father, also played with Cheyenne in the 93-94 season suiting up for 66 games he had 15 points and 270 pims.  Head Coach and GM Ken Plaquin “really cool and exciting to have 2nd generation guys and super rare with brothers on the team”

You can see the trio of players along with the rest of the Klippers Sept 25th for our home opener vs Battleford, puck drop is 7:30!
