Kleiner to Klippers

TALENTED D MAN JOINS AT DEADLINE.

The Ironhorse Kindersley Klippers have made an important move towards a push for the playoffs by acquiring 1998 born D-man Blake Kleiner from the Drumheller Dragons today for a PDF.

Blake is a native of Lethbridge Alberta where he captained the Midget AAA Hurricanes prior to entering the Junior A rank with the Drumheller Dragons of the AJHL. In 62 career games in the AJHL Blake registered 17 points and 73 PIMS.

The Klippers resume game action tonight in Estevan after last night’s postponement versus the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox due to extreme freezing rain and closure of the highway.

The Klippers look forward to welcoming Blake to the club as he joins the team on the current rod trip and could see game action as soon as Friday vs Weyburn.
