The Iron Horse Kindersley Klippers were proudly represented at the 2025 Western All-Star Challenge this past weekend in Martensville, as Jaxon Herchak and Pryce Thiessen suited up for Team SJHL in the annual showcase event.
The Western All-Star Challenge brings together top talent from both the SJHL and MJHL, serving as a key step in the selection process for Team Canada West ahead of the 2025 World Junior A Challenge, set for December 7–13 in Trois-Rivières, QC.
Thiessen made an immediate impact in the tournament, finding the back of the net twice in Team SJHL’s opening game, while Herchak brought his strong two-way play and leadership presence to the ice throughout the event. Together, they helped Team SJHL secure one win out of two games during the weekend.
The Klippers organization congratulates both Jaxon Herchak and Pryce Thiessen on their well-deserved selection and outstanding performances. We wish them the best of luck as the evaluation process continues for a spot on Team Canada West.
