MT.ROYAL GETS SOLID D-MAN
Clive Rozdeba has landed a roster spot on one of the up-and-coming U-Sports hockey programs with his hometown Mount Royal Cougars after an accomplished Junior career that took him to all parts of Western Canada.
Clive spent time with Canmore and Grande Prairie of the Alberta Jr Hockey League, Salmon Arm of the BC Junior Hockey League, and Nipawin and Kindersley in the SJHL; so no one will blame Clive for taking the chance to play back in Calgary in front of family and friends.
All-in-all Clive leaves Jr hockey with 160 games played with 51 points scored.
Mount Royal finished 4th in the tough Canada West conference of the newly rebranded U-Sports, (formerly CIS) behind Calgary, Alberta and National Champion finalist Saskatchewan Huskies; an impressive resurgence for a club new to the league only four years removed from a 7-21 marking in 2012-13.
The Klippers family wish Clive the best going forward with the Cougars both on the ice and in the classroom. Thank you Clive for two great years with the Klippers.
